2024 Cultural Tour of Japan
Initial Information – 2024 Japan Trip
In 2024 MCC students will get a first-hand experience of the culture, food and scenic delights of Japan. The 10-day tour will take in Tokyo, Kyoto, Nara and Hiroshima and include a visit to our sister school and homestay.
The trip itinerary is as follows:
Thursday 26 September 2024, depart Sydney
Friday 27 September, arrive in Tokyo for a full day of sightseeing
Saturday 28 September, Tokyo Disneyland
Sunday 29 September, Tokyo spend the day with a host family
Monday 30 September, Tokyo visit Nichidai Daiichi JHS, school program
Tuesday 1 October, Tokyo visit Nichidai Daiichi JHS, school program + farewell ceremony
Wednesday 2 October, Tokyo visit the Akihabara then catch the Shinkansen to Kyoto
Thursday 3 October, Kyoto to Nara for sightseeing then return to Kyoto
Friday 4 October, Kyoto sightseeing
Saturday 5 October, Kyoto catch the Shinkansen and Hiroden to Hiroshima and return to Kyoto
Sunday 6 October, Kyoto to Tokyo for lunch then to the airport for return to Sydney
Monday 7 October, Sydney Airport
Most meals, accommodation, entry passes and transport are included in the price which has initially been quoted at $4150.
